During the auditions for America’s Got Talent, a family band named the Edgars walk on stage. The thirtysomething woman introduces herself as Nikki Edgar, then she introduces her husband Ryan and their teenage daughter Jaslyn. AGT judge Simon Cowell is surprised to hear that the women are mother/daughter. Nikki goes on to explain that Nikki was once a Christian artist with a record deal but when she became a teen mom, “they kicked me out.”
