In The Good Wife episode “Landing,” while Diane (Christine Baranski) tries to negotiate the sale of her husband’s (Gary Cole) business to his beautiful blond student Holly Westfall (Megan Hilty), Alicia (Julianna Margulies) and Lucca (Cush Jumbo) fly to Canada to represent NSA agent Jeff Delinger (Zach Woods) who hasn’t been allowed to re-enter the U.S. Alicia and Lucca face Canadian Magistrate Nora Valentine.
Nora Valentine is portrayed by Jayne Atkinson. She’s known for her roles on House of Cards (Catherine Durant), Criminal Minds (Erin Strauss), Gossip Girl (Dean Reuther), 24 (Karen Hayes), Parenthood (Karen Buckman), and A Year in the Life (Lindley Gardner Eisenberg), among others. Atkinson is also recognized for her roles in the films Syriana (Division Chief), The Village (Tabitha Walker), and Free Willy (Annie). The Good Wife airs Sundays at 9pm on CBS.
