Abby Celso is the 20-year-old from Rochester, New York competing on Season 10 of The Voice. She wowed the judges with her Blind Audition performance of the Tori Kelly song “Should’ve Been Us.” On Team Pharrell, she and Brian Nhira sang the Maroon 5 hit “Sugar” during the Battle Round. Although Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton all said they would have chosen Brian to win, Pharrell chose Abby. Pharrell said he appreciated the way she “came out swinging for the fences” and that he planned to push Abby further. (Adam and Christina both tried to steal Brian — he chose Adam).
Now on separate teams, Abby and Brian get to choose the songs they perform during the Knockout Round which continues this week on The Voice, Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
