On the Blue Bloods episode “The Road to Hell,” while NYPD detective Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) has to identity the killer of a man whom several women have admitted to murdering, and Nikky Reagan-Boyle (Sami Gayle) is arrested for drug possession, Commissioner Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) argues with his priest, Father Quinn, over how to punish a neighborhood kid who’s been stealing from the church.
Father Quinn is portrayed by Jack McGee. The Bronx-born actor is best known for his roles in the films The Fighter (George Ward), Moneyball (John Poloni), 21 (Terry), and Crash (gun store owner). McGee is also well-recognized for his recurring roles on the TV shows Rescue Me (Chief Jerry Reilly) and NYPD Blue (Desk Sgt. Mahoney), among many others. P.S. McGee was a real firefighter with the FDNY in the late 1970s. Blue Bloods airs Fridays at 10pm on CBS.
