On the Dance Moms episode “Maddie Is Back,” dance instructor Abby Lee Miller doesn’t seem happy to see her most famous dancer, Maddie Ziegler. Since Dance Moms, Maddie has become a sought-after talent in Hollywood. She’s starred in three of Sia’s music videos, one (Elastic Heart) with Shia LaBeouf. She’s also performed live — and mesmerized the audience — with Sia and SNL alum Kristen Wiig (Chandelier) at the 2015 Grammys. And now Maddie’s starring in her first feature film, The Book of Henry, with Naomi Watts.
Abby Lee Miller understandably hasn’t been in the greatest of moods since she’s been charged with 20 counts of fraud by the IRS. That’s enough to make anybody agitated. But the “dance moms” can’t help speculating that Miller’s crankiness toward Maddie is fueled by jealousy. Dance Moms airs Tuesdays at 8pm and 9pm on Lifetime.
