The Season 4 trailer for House of Cards has been released and it’s tantalizing, as usual. President Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) tells his wife Claire (Robin Wright) she doesn’t appreciate anything because she hasn’t had to work for everything like he has. It’s a dark and sinister trailer with glimpses of guns, violence, sex and a bag full of money.
The most intriguing parts of the trailer reveal two new female characters. One of the mysterious women is portrayed by Neve Campbell (Party of Five, Scream, Wild Things). Her character appears by the side of Claire during a face-off with Frank; she is expected to take advantage of the First Couple’s damaged relationship. The other character is portrayed by 83-year-old, Oscar, Tony, and Emmy Award winning actress Ellen Burstyn (The Last Picture Show, The Exorcist, Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore). No matter what kind of character she plays, Burstyn will deliver drama with aplomb. House of Cards will be back on March 4, 2016.
