On the reality show K. Michelle: My Life, the R&B singer moves from New York to Los Angeles. Her goal on the West Coast is to focus on her new music without any distraction. That sounds like a good idea but she’s always going to be distracted especially by the men in her life – her son, her “gay husband” BFF Jonathan, and her ex-boyfriend Bobby Maze who says he’s changed and ready to be her man.
[Who Is Miss Diddy on ‘K. Michelle: My Life’?]
Michelle and Bobby have been on-again, off-again for a while but in 2015, it seemed like they were never going to get back together again when she wrote on Instagram: “This man [Bobby] has 4 kids, 4 baby momma, 3 of which I knew nothing about, 2 of which he’s never seen. No job, and everything on his Instagram is fake and not his. He wants to be a celebrity so bad, so when posting things about him please do not attach my name to this foolery.” On My Life, K. Michelle is going against her own wishes and entertaining the idea of seeing Bobby who just happens to be in LA. Maze played basketball at the University of Tennessee where he was on the Bob Cousy Award watch list as one of the nation’s top point guards (2009-2010). He played with 2008 NBA Rookie of the Year Kevin Durant and Denver Nuggets rookie Ty Lawson on the D.C. Blue Devils AAU team. K. Michelle: My Life airs Mondays at 9:30pm on VH1.
