Former Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star K. Michelle moved from New York to Los Angeles because she needed a new and peaceful environment where she could focus on her new music without any distraction. That’s going to be hard — because she invited her fun best friend, her “gay husband,” makeup artist Jonathan to come with her. He needed a new start in a new city too after breaking up with his fiance.

VH1 cameras are going to follow K. Michelle (and Jonathan) for the reality show K. Michelle: My Life. Sure she was pleased with the success of her single, “Anybody Wanna Buy A Heart?” which hit the #1 spot on the Billboard R&B chart, but K. Michelle now has “a new song in my heart, and a new sound that I want to get out to the world.” Her latest single is a post-breakup song, “Not A Little Bit,” which includes the lyrics: “If you think I want you, not a little bit / If you think I need you, not a little bit / I finally moved on I’m over it / If you think I need you, not / Think I need you, not,” she sings. But on K. Michelle: My Life — which airs Mondays at 9:30pm on VH1 — we learn Bobby Maze is in town…
