According to the Danbury Federal Prison in Connecticut where Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice has been serving time, she will be released on February 5, 2016. That’s two months earlier than what was originally expected. Giudice was given a 15-month sentence for bank and wire fraud. According to her lawyer, James J. Leonard Jr., Giudice will be released even earlier – on December 23, 2015. He clarified to People that Teresa “will remain in the prison system under home confinement until her sentence ends” on February 5. Teresa’s early release is good news for Teresa’s four daughters who miss their mother. But her early release is bittersweet for her husband Joe Giudice.

The married couple made a deal with the judge. In order to care for their four daughters – Gia, Milania, Gabriella, and Audriana – the couple agreed to take turns going to jail. Once Teresa is done serving her time, Joe begins his 41-month sentence for his multiple charges of fraud. Joe and his daughters will talk about their family status on a two-part special on Bravo – The Real Housewives of New Jersey Teresa Checks In on October 11 at 8pm.
