Nurse Jackie Peyton (Edie Falco) is at work, standing next to her young colleague Zoey (Merritt Wever) when Zoey gets a phone call from Jackie’s teenage daughter, Grace. “Just calm down, and tell me where you are,” says Grace. Jackie can’t believe Grace is calling Zoey for help. The two nurses take an unexpected road trip to find Grace.
Grace is portrayed by Ruby Jerins. The 17-year-old actress has also appeared on Law & Order, As the World Turns (Lacy Talbot) and Six Degrees (Eliza Morgan). Jerins is currently a student at LaGuardia High School (aka the “Fame” school), from which her co-star Merritt Wever (Zoey) graduated. Nurse Jackie airs Sundays at 9pm on Showtime.
