On the BBC America hit drama The Musketeers, the renowned astronomer Marmion invites the Royal household (and the musketeers) to his observatory to watch a solar eclipse. It’s an ominous looking place. The observatory is in a transformed old fort. When the guests arrive, Marmion and his men take everyone hostage. They chain Porthos and Rochefort in one of the dungeons and decide who dies first by flipping a coin.
The evil Marmion is portrayed convincingly by the British actor Leo Gregory. It’s not surprising to learn that the 28-year-old’s favorite actors are those who are famous for playing some pretty bad guys — Gary Oldman, Sean Penn, Robert De Niro, and Jack Nicholson.
