At a party on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Lisa Rinna is asked about the celebrities that she’s gotten to know over the past 21 years living in the famous 90210 area code. She pointed out one of the celebrities at the party, Faye Resnick. Resnick was friends with OJ Simpson’s wife Nicole Brown. In fact, she was staying with them just days before Brown and Ronald Goldman were murdered.
Talk of the OJ Simpson trial turned to Kris Jenner, also a friend of the deceased Nicole Brown. When Rinna was asked how long she’s known Kris Jenner, Rinna said the same amount of time she’s known Faye. “I used to see OJ with Nicole at the pediatric AIDS event with the kids,” said Rinna. “And Kris Jenner with Bruce.” And then something happened that should have happened to NBC anchorman Brian Williams. Rinna took a second, and then corrected herself. “No!” she gasped. “She [Kris] wasn’t with Bruce, she was with Robert Kardashian!” Kardashian was one of Simpson’s defense attorneys during the trial. Okay, it wasn’t a false flashback to the Iraq War but at least Rinna caught herself.
