In time for the release of Angelina Jolie’s secular film Unbroken, about the life of WWII POW Louis Zamperini, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association has released a short documentary focused on his Christian faith. Louis Zamperini: Captured By Grace will air on Fox News, Saturday, December 27.
According to Franklin Graham, son of Billy Graham, Zamperini turned his life around in 1949 at a Billy Graham revival. Zamperini said of his conversion: “I didn’t like my life after the war. I came home alive. God kept His promise. I didn’t keep mine, and so I went forward and accepted Christ.” Graham and Greta Van Susteren will host a special one-hour presentation on Fox News, Saturday, December 27 at 10pm, and air the documentary which will re-air at 7pm on December 31 and January 1.
