Playboy model-turned-radio talk show host Jenny McCarthy will ring in the new year as co-host of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest. It’s McCarthy’s fourth consecutive year broadcasting live from Times Square. The show kicks off at 8pm on ABC, Wednesday, December 31. Live musical performances include Taylor Swift and Florida Georgia Line. And since it’s ABC, the Disney owned network must include Idina Menzel singing the Frozen song, Let It Go. Which, come to think of it, is a pretty good thing to do with 2014.
When asked to describe New Year’s Rockin’ Eve in one word, McCarthy says, “Shit…” That wasn’t her real answer, she was just thinking. “No, no…what I’d really say is… ‘spiritual.’ I go to church when I’m out there [on the streets of Times Square]. I feel the Holy Spirit!”
