Jonas Brothers’ Nick Jonas took his girlfriend, Miss Universe 2012, Olivia Culpo, to the red carpet premiere of his film Kingdom. (He plays a mixed martial arts fighter.) Jonas and Culpo have been dating for a little over a year so it’s no surprise that they traveled together to Cannes for the MIPCOM, the annual film and television trade show. Culpo is the first winner from the USA to wear the Miss Universe crown since Brook Lee in 1994. Before that, Culpo was crowned Miss Rhode Island 2012.
In 2013, Jonas confirmed his relationship with Culpo during an interview with Joan Rivers on E!’s Fashion Police. Rivers asked Jonas how they meet: “What does one meet Miss Universe? You follow a girl wearing a sash?”
