Ed Sheeran, the redheaded English Homeless singer whose best Friends include Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox, has set the record straight about his past, sort of. After MTV premiered an exclusive excerpt from his forthcoming book, Ed Sheeran: A Visual Journey, Sheeran said his “homelessness” was “taken out of context in press.” Sheeran explained: “I went without a bed for some nights, that’s it. It’s just that I didn’t have a place to stay [those nights], so I slept on the Central Line and outside Buckingham Palace. That’s just what I did.” If you lost your place and don’t have a place to sleep, some would call that being homeless but Sheeran chalks it up to being a young, starving artist.
Ed Sheeran: A Visual Journey, illustrated by his childhood friend, artist Phillip Butah, will hit the US on November 18.
