Colombian soccer player James Rodriguez made big headlines when he announced his move to Real Madrid. Articles featuring the young player with this wife and child have started to surface. However, some negative press has, too. Some fans have called Rodriguez’s wife, Daniela Ospina, “ugly.” She is being unfavorably compared to other WAGS (wives and girlfriends) of Real Madrid players–most of whom are “smoking hot” models.
Ospina, a devout Christian who refers to herself as “Hija de DIOS” (a woman of God), turned the other cheek. She wrote in an Instagram post: “Sorry if I do not meet your expectations. My priority is to fulfill mine.” Brava, Daniela.
