The rumors are true. After almost a week of speculation (an eternity in celebrity gossip), it has been confirmed that Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin are consciously coupling. Perhaps Martin is drawn to J-Law because she’s the polar opposite of his ex-wife. The 37-year-old Coldplay frontman reportedly fell for the 24-year-old star’s laid-back personality, and friends believe she’s good for him following his failed marriage with clean-living Gwyneth Paltrow.
While 41-year-old Paltrow has a healthy diet and a strict fitness regimen, Lawrence smokes and enjoys pizza, and has given Martin “a new lease of life.” A friend of the singer says “Jennifer is loads of fun and they can’t stop laughing when they are together. Chris feels he is dating someone who has everything he’s been missing out on in the past 11 years.” As for what attracts Lawrence to Martin, well, after three years of on-off dating with X-Men co-star Nicholas Hoult, it might be she’s not over the English accent.
