Allie LaForce is a professional broadcast sports anchor and reporter who covers SEC college football and basketball for CBS Sports and the NBA on TNT. Prior to her broadcasting career, LaForce played basketball at Ohio University (she played in five games her freshman year as a guard on the Division I Bobcats’ women’s team), and was crowned Miss Ohio Teen USA and Miss Ohio USA in 2005. LaForce has solid beauty pageant genes: her mother Lesa Rummell was crowned Miss Ohio USA 1977. For Allie, the Miss Ohio USA title came with a one-year modeling contact with Trump Modeling Management (see photo below of LaForce with Donald Trump).
In 2015, LaForce married MLB relief pitcher Joe Smith who started his career with the New York Mets in in 2007. He later played with the Cleveland Indians, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, and was a member of the Cubs’ 2016 World Series championship team. In February 2017, he signed a one-year, $3 million contract with the Toronto Blue Jays.
