On Little Big Shots, Steve Harvey meets superstar dancers Lev & Sofia who have been dancing together for the past two years. When Steve Harvey gets them on the sofa to talk, the youngsters tell different stories about how they met and started working together. Lev says Sofia asked to dance with him — she denies it. “Are you just shy?” Lev asks Sofia, who again denies his suggestion. Lev turns to Harvey, “I also have a theory that she might like me.” Sofia yells, “I’ll tell you the real theory — you like me!”
This isn’t Lev & Sofia’s first time on TV. In 2016, when Lev auditioned for So You Think You Can Dance: Next Generation he brought Sofia with him (she was too young to audition alone). He was 10. After their performance to Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk”, the young dancers received a standing ovation from the SYTYCD panel — Nigel Lythgoe, Paula Abdul, and Jason Derulo. Derulo said, “I’ve never seen a little person dance like that.” Lev got to go to the academy but was later eliminated. The good news is, he got the chance to dance in Justin Timberlake’s music video “Can’t Stop The Feeling” for the Trolls movie (see below). The video has been watched more than 420 million times. Lev first appears at the 1:50 mark, and at the end is seen dancing with JT. Little Big Shots airs Sundays at 7pm (reruns) and 8pm on NBC.
