On the NCIS episode ‘The Tie That Binds,’ the NCIS team finds Ducky’s address in the pocket of a murdered Navy captain. Ducky explains how he knows the man via flashbacks. One flashback shows Young Ducky (Adam Campbell) confronting his naked mother (Caroline Lagerfelt) and the naked gentleman caller she has stowed away in the armoire.
The gentleman caller is Balthazar Kilmeany and he is portrayed by Charles Shaughnessy. Shaughnessy is known for his roles Days of Our Lives (Shane Donovan), Masters of Sex (Mr. Clavermore), The Bay (Capt. Elliot Sanders), Mad Men (Saint John Powell), Saints & Sinners (August Martin), and Living with Fran and The Nanny (Maxwell Sheffield), among others. NCIS airs Tuesdays at 8pm on CBS.
