On the Season 6 premiere episode of Once Upon a Time, ‘The Savior,’ while refugees from the Land of Untold Stories invade Storybrooke and in a flashback Jafar (Oded Fehr) confronts Aladdin (Deniz Akdeniz), Emma (Jennifer Morrison) and the heroes try to stop Mr. Hyde which won’t be easy. Dr. Jekyll in particular wants Hyde stopped. As executive producer Edward Kitsis explains the situation: “Jekyll is very frightened, he came here (Storybrooke) looking for refuge, and his worst half (Hyde) is out there trying to kill him.”
Hyde is portrayed by Sam Witwer. He’s known for his roles on Rosewood (Heath Cadablanca), Syfy’s Being Human (Aidan Waite), Grimm (Max), The Walking Dead (Tank Soldier), Smallville (Davis Bloome), Dexter (Neil Perry), and Battlestar Galactica (Crashdown), among others. Fun fact about Witwer: He also provides the voice of Starkiller, Darth Vader’s Secret Apprentice, in the Star Wars video games. Once Upon a Time airs Sundays at 8pm on ABC.
