Former Gossip Girl actress turned celebrity homemaker, Blake Lively, announced that she’s pregnant with her movie star husband Ryan Reynolds. The met on the set of The Green Lantern and married soon after in September 2011. They live in the tony Westchester suburb of Bedford, New York, near Lively’s lifestyle, entrepreneur mentor Martha Stewart.
Lively announced her pregnancy by releasing a beautiful photo of her cradling her growing womb. (The photo was taken by her brother, Eric Lively.) She didn’t post the pic “for free” on Instagram or Twitter. She decided that in sharing the news she’d take the opportunity to advertise her retail website Preserve, which sells fine home décor, gourmet food, jewelry, and a full line of clothing for men, women and yes, children. In the photo, Lively is modeling a Sam and Lavi top ($148) and skirt ($178).
