Daisy Fuentes is known from her days on MTV, as the network’s first Latina VJ (Video Jockey) and as the first Latina spokesperson for cosmetic giant Revlon.
When not modeling, the 56-year-old TV personality spends time with her husband of seven years, singer/songwriter Richard Marx (‘Don’t Mean Nothing’, ‘Hold on to the Nights’).
Fuentes often posts photos of her and Marx together, but when she dropped the intimate photo below, which reveals her from behind topless and wearing a g-string, a number of fans voiced their disapproval with comments including “the oversharing on the internet is insane.”
Marx is coming to the defense of Fuentes and is addressing judgmental followers with replies including: “I’m deeply grateful that among the many other differences between you and me, I’m not remotely triggered or threatened by the posts of complete strangers I’ll never meet. Bless.”
When another fan chimed in: “I think it’s important to call these people out on their behavior. They do and say crazy things then play victim. No one wants to see this. Especially from people their age,” Marx replied: “Spoken by someone who’s never been in a playful mood with a loving partner. Bless.”
As one Richard Marx fan noted: “Richard’s comebacks to annoying comments are the best.”
