The tiny pink dress is by Albanian-born designer Nensi Dojaka, who’s known for her “ultra-feminine design vocabulary of sheer fabrics and asymmetric shapes.” LVMH’s Dephine Arnault told Paper magazine that Dojaka’s “sensual and tailored fashion breaks with the conventions of womenswear, combining confidence and style.”
When Vogue France shared the video above, of Joy sashaying in the dress, it wrote: “Happy birthday @anyataylorjoy! Here she is, perfectly mastering the barbiecore trend in a @nensidojaka dress!” Her fans are going wild over the dress and how well she wears it. As one fan replied: “It’s the walk for me.”
Get ready to see more of the 27-year-old blonde: She will appear next on the big screen in the upcoming Mad Max installment, Furiosa. It’s described as “the origin story of renegade warrior Furiosa before she teamed up with Mad Max in Fury Road.” Chris Hemsworth co-stars. Furiosa is scheduled for a May 2024 release.
