When not promoting her clothing line or books, former singer and reality TV star Jessica Simpson spends time with her family including her hunky husband of seven years, former NFL football player Eric Johnson.
When Jessica shared the cute “first day of school” photo below, she was showered with compliments regarding her “lewk” — as usual — but dozens of her fans voiced their surprise at seeing Eric in that MLB Milwaukee Brewers baseball hat. One wrote: “Wait…Eric’s a Brewers fan?!?” Another replied: “Wait what your husband supports the Milwaukee Brewers!???!”
It comes as a surprise because Eric is from Massachusetts and played football at Yale before he was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the 2001 NFL Draft. He played for the New Orleans Saints in 2007, before he retired, but never in the Midwest. And the Simpsons live in California!
He’s wearing a Boston Red Sox cap in the photo below which makes more sense since he’s from Massachusetts!
