The protagonist of the Lifetime movie Nightmare Tenant is Dr. Carol Allen. She’s a kind-hearted Ivy League alum and single mom whose high-achieving, well-rounded daughter Lacey (Heather Hopkins) gets accepted into the same university. At her daughter’s suggestion, Carol takes in a hard-luck student so she won’t be living alone when her daughter starts college. That’s when the nightmare begins. Carol has no idea that her tenant is out for revenge.
[Bell also starred in the Lifetime movie Mistress Hunter]
Mom Carol Allen on Lifetime’s Nightmare Tenant is portrayed by Emmy Award winner Lauralee Bell. She’s best known for her role as Christine Blair Williams on the daytime soap opera The Young and the Restless. She won an Emmy Award for her role as Kate in the 2013 short film mI promise, which she wrote and directed, too. It’s about the dangers of teenagers who text while driving. Bell’s daughter Sabrina Bella co-stars. Nightmare Tenant premieres on Lifetime on Friday, March 22 at 8pm. [More Lifetime movies streaming are always available.]
