BET is airing the conclusion of The Bobby Brown Story. The second and final part of the series focuses on Bobby and Whitney Houston’s marriage which falls apart “after he kicks hard drugs in jail and she continues using, but his attempt to rebuild his life is put to the ultimate test by a series of family tragedies.” Bobby is portrayed by Woody McClain, who played Bobby in BET’s movie “New Edition: The Movie.” Whitney is portrayed by Gabrielle Dennis.

As an actress, Dennis is known for her roles on Netflix’s Luke Cage (Tilda Johnson), S.W.A.T. (Shemar Moore/Hondo’s sister Briana Harrelson), Rosewood (Pippy Rosewood), The Game (Janay), and Blue Mountain State (Denise Roy), among others.
