There are two talented young women named Jackie who’ve made it to the Top 11 of The Voice. Jackie Foster is the alt-rock singer on Team Alicia. Jackie Verna is the 22-year-old country singer on Team Adam. For their Top 11 performances, Jackie Foster nails the dramatic Who song “Love Reign O’er Me” while Jackie Verna serves up some super sweet “Strawberry Wine.”

“Strawberry Wine” is considered country singer Deana Carter‘s signature song. Written by Matraca Berg, it’s about a young girl losing her innocence. In 1996, Deana Carter recorded it for her debut album, Did I Shave My Legs for This? (see link above). Jackie Verna was about one-year-old when the song was released! The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
