Maci Bookout made her TV debut in the MTV reality show 16 and Pregnant. As a teen, Maci gave birth to her first child in 2008. Now the 26-year-old is the mother of three, married to Taylor McKinney (father of her two youngest), and one of the stars of Teen Mom OG. Maci knows a thing or two about how MTV motherhood rolls. So it’s no wonder why she was chosen to introduce the five new moms on the new MTV series Teen Mom: Young + Pregnant on Monday, March 5 at 8pm. Of the five — Ashley, Brianna, Jade, Kayla, and Lexi — Jade is the most outspoken. She has a lot on her plate. Her mother and father are staying with Jade and the father of her baby (daughter Eva), Sean.
When Jade and her mom Christy go out for dinner, just the two of them, Christy asks Jade what’s bothering Sean. Jade explains that he “wants his house back.” The four adults are living in one house with one bathroom. That when Christy asks Jade if she wants her to pack up and move out. Jade says, “I don’t want to just kick you out, Mom.” Christy talks over Jade, “I hope neither one of you has something happen like you lose your job and can’t pay for anything and you have to come to my house. Because I’ll treat you like you’ve treated me.” Jade replies, “You are so rude.” And then the sensitive subject of parenting skills comes up. Christy tells Jade she could be raising her daughter “a little bit better.” Ouch. Teen Mom: Young + Pregnant airs Mondays at 8pm on MTV.
