On the Teen Mom: OG episode “Friends in Need,” while Amber Portwood complains about what strangers are saying about her on Twitter, Maci Bookout visits Catelynn Lowell Baltierra at her treatment facility with Catelynn’s husband Tyler and daughter Nova. Catelynn is impressed that Maci’s husband is taking care of her three kids while she visits. When they start to talking, Maci doesn’t beat around the bush. She asks Catelynn, “What have you been doing at here?” Catelynn says, “Tons of therapy and group therapy, trauma classes. It’s been really good, honestly.” Maci asks “So what was going on? Did anything happen or was it just life?” That’s when Catelynn reveals that she had a miscarriage. Maci reveals that she had a miscarriage earlier in the year too.
Tyler tells Maci, “It may not have been a fully developed baby in the womb but it was in our hearts.” Catelynn gives her husband an interesting look after that comment. See video below. Does she agree with that assessment? It’s hard to tell. Teen Mom OG airs Mondays at 9pm on MTV.
