On The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills episode “Dames, Dogs and Danke,” the ladies travel to Berlin, Germany. Over drinks, Lisa Vanderpump tells a story and says “Nanny Kay was staying with me then.” When Kyle Richards asks “Who’s Nanny Kay?”, Vanderpump can’t believe it. From the look on Erika Girardi’s face, even she knows that was not a smart question to ask. Vanderpump reminds Kyle that Nanny Kay was with her during an earthquake when she lost a restaurant. Vanderpump asks the camera, “If you are one of my best friends, you should know who she is, right?”
Nanny Kay was Lisa Vanderpump’s grandmother. “I loved her, worshiped her, adored her,” says Vanderpump. “She was an eloquent, articulate woman who lived her life with style and grace. She passed away when she was 100 years old and I squeezed every last minute of good and happy times with her.” The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Tuesdays at 9pm on Bravo.
