In the TV movie Snowed-Inn Christmas two journalists — Jenna Hudson (Bethany Joy Lenz) and Kevin Jenner (Andrew Walker) — have the bad luck of traveling through a snowstorm. The good news is their plane gets grounded in Indiana. At the airport, they meet a charming woman named Carol Winters who invites them to stay at her inn. Carol, who looks like Mrs. Santa Claus, and her jolly looking husband Christopher (John B. Lowe) keep the inn cozy and alive with Christmas spirit. Carol gives Kevin good advice when it comes to falling in love.
Carol Winters is portrayed by Belinda Montgomery. The Canadian-born actress is known for her roles on Doogie Howser, M.D. (Doogie’s mom Katherine, adorable photo below), Miami Vice (Sonny/Don Johnson’s first wife Caroline), and Man from Atlantis with Patrick Duffy (Dr. Elizabeth Merrill), among many others. Snowed-Inn Christmas premieres on Lifetime on Saturday, December 16 at 8pm.
