In the 9JKL episode “Lovers Getaway,” Harry (Elliott Gould) gets sick right before taking his wife Judy (Linda Lavin) on a pre-arranged anniversary spa getaway. Their son Josh (Mark Feuerstein) does a nice thing and takes his mother to the spa — but everyone there believes they are a couple. That misconception doesn’t stop Mark from trying to date an attractive woman he meets at the spa, Natalie.
Natalie is portrayed by Feuerstein’s former Royal Pains co-star Brooke D’Orsay who played Paige Collins (Evan’s wife). The Canadian-born actress is also known for her roles on Two and a Half Men (Kate/Robin, see link above), Drop Dead Diva (Deb Dobkins), Gary Unmarried (Sasha), the animated series 6Teen (Caitlin Cooke), and Happy Hour (Heather Hanson), among others. D’Orsay is also recognized for her role as Clarissa in the 2004 film Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle. 9JKL airs Mondays at 9:30pm on CBS, right after Superior Donuts.
