In the NCIS: New Orleans episode “Hard Knock Life,” a petty officer is found dead in a park. He was shot twice in the back of the head, “execution style.” Agent Pride (Scott Bakula) second-guesses evidence suggesting that a group of homeless kids are the suspects in the petty officer’s murder. There is a reprieve from the seriousness of the case. In the park, the New Orleans Tricentennial Music Festival is going on where the real-life band X Ambassadors perform two songs.
X Ambassadors perform their new hits “Ahead of Myself” and “The Devil You Know” which are both on their current album Ahead of Myself — see link above. The band from Ithaca, New York consists of lead vocalist Sam Harris, keyboardist Casey Harris (Sam’s brother, who was born blind), lead guitarist Noah Feldshuh, and drummer Adam Levin.
