In the Lethal Weapon episode “Birdwatching,” while Riggs (Clayne Crawford) suffers from nightmares rooted in childhood memories, his partner Murtaugh (Damon Wayans Sr.) gets jealous. Murtaugh grows suspicious of his wife Trish (Keesha Sharp) and her new male friend. They’ve been spending a lot of time together working on a charity event. Turns out Trish’s new friend is six-time NBA champion Scottie “Pip” Pippen.
This isn’t Scottie Pippen’s first time on a scripted TV show. He made his acting debut in 1996 (right after winning his third NBA championship with the Chicago Bulls; he won six in all) on ER which was set in Chicago. And in 2015 the 6’8” Hall of Famer appeared (again as himself) on Fresh Off the Boat and on an episode of Chicago Fire. Lethal Weapon airs Tuesdays at 8pm on FOX, right before The Mick.
