The TV movie A Neighbor’s Deception could also have been titled “You Get What You Pay For.” The protagonist is Chloe, a young woman who is befriended by her older male neighbor Gerald Dixon (Tom Amandes). When Gerald, a therapist, suggests that Chloe seems anxious, he offers to provide her with free therapy sessions. She accepts and Gerald turns out to be beyond creepy.

Chloe is portrayed by Ashley Bell. She’s known for her roles on The Walking Dead: Webisodes (Karina), United States of Tara (Tonya), and in the 2010 film The Last Exorcism and The Last Exorcism Part II (Nell Sweetzer), among others. Fun fact about Bell: Her father Michael Bell provided the voices of Handy, Grouchy, and Lazy on the cartoon Smurfs. A Neighbor’s Deception premieres on LMN on Thursday, April 6 at 8pm.
