On The Blacklist episode ‘The Apothecary’, Red (James Spader) has been poisoned. Someone has laced his drink with a toxin that includes snake venom. Liz (Megan Boone) and the team have to find the person who made the poison in order to save Red’s lives. The designer of the toxin is Asa Hightower.
Asa Hightower is portrayed by Jamie Harrold. He’s appeared on Elementary, The Good Wife, Law & Order, and Stephen King’s Kingdom Hospital (Dr. Elmer Traff), among others. Harrold is also recognized for his roles in the films I Shot Andy Warhol (Jackie Curtis) and Erin Brockovich (Scott). The Blacklist airs Thursdays at 9pm on NBC.
