In the Married to Medicine episode ‘Brutally Honest Makeover,’ while Toya Bush-Harris and her doctor husband Eugene face the idea of moving into a smaller home due to financial constraints, Toya treats the ladies to a day at the spa. (You read that right.) At the spa, tempers (once again) flare between Toya and Lisa Nicole Cloud. Toya reaches her boiling point and refers to Lisa Nicole’s husband as her “gay-ass husband.”
Meanwhile, Dr. Simone Whitford and Mariah Huq get together (one-on-one) to reconcile. Mariah is surprised to learn that Simone’s father passed away, and a couple of weeks ago. But Mariah is most surprised to hear that Simone asked Quad Webb-Lunceford to travel with her to Nashville (where Simone’s father lived). Simone tried to explain, “I didn’t know how you were feeling about me.” She added, “I was scared to reach out.” Married to Medicine airs Fridays at 8pm on Bravo.
