In the Mom episode ‘Xanax and a Baby Duck’, Christy (Anna Faris) discovers that her 12-year-old son Roscoe (Blake Garrett Rosenthal) has been using drugs and alcohol. While Christy becomes a helicopter parent, her mother Bonnie (Allison Janney) turns out to be the calm and rational one. Both recovering addicts take Roscoe to see Dr. LaSalle.
