The TV movie The Watcher is about a young couple who buys their dream home only to discover that someone, or something (a bird-like creature), is stalking them in their home, is leaving them creepy, threatening letters, and wants them out. The movie is called The Watcher for a reason.
In 2014, a young couple with three kids moved into their dream house in Westfield, New Jersey. Three days after the $1.3 million deal went through, the new homeowners received creepy, threatening letters from a person who called himself The Watcher. The family never moved into the home and instead sued the former owners for not warning them about The Watcher who claimed to be a third-generation stalker of the house. The former owners tried to get the case dismissed but in August 2016 a judge refused to dismiss the case. The home is still on the market for a reduced $1,199,000. The Watcher will premiere on LMN on Sunday, October 9 at 8pm.
