On the third-round results show of Dancing with the Stars, before the next couple eliminated is announced, viewers will be entertained by Florida Georgia Line and lesser known Fitz and the Tantrums. The latter is a six-person indie pop/soul band from Los Angeles featuring Michael Fitzpatrick (lead vocals), Noelle Scaggs (vocals, percussion), John Wicks (drums), Joseph Karnes (bass guitar), Jeremy Ruzumna (keyboards), and James King (sax, flute, et al). Their debut album, Pickin’ Up the Pieces, was released in 2010. In 2013, they signed with Elektra Records and released More Than Just a Dream.
Fitz and the Tantrums released their self-titled third album in June which includes their current hit “HandClap.” Dancing with the Stars airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on ABC.
