In the Lethal Weapon episode ‘Surf N Turf’, Detectives Riggs (Clayne Crawford) and Murtaugh (Damon Wayans) respond to a noise complaint. The noise is coming from a party held at the Hollywood Hills home of heavyweight boxer Ronald Dawson. While Riggs and Murtaugh are there, gunshots are heard. The gunman hijacks a propane truck and takes off. Riggs takes Dawson’s motorcycle and Murtaugh follows in their police car.
Boxer Ronald Dawson is portrayed by singer Jason Derulo. When not serving as a judge on the TV dance competition So You Think You Can Dance with Paula Abdul and Maddie Ziegler, Derulo is performing. His latest album Platinum Hits includes the hit single “Kiss The Sky”. Lethal Weapon airs Wednesdays at 8pm on FOX.
