NBC is airing a one-hour special NFL Kickoff 2016 show to “kickoff” the 2016 NFL season. Before the 2015 Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos face the Carolina Panthers again, country singer Dierks Bentley and OneRepublic will perform. Dierks Bentley has been teasing his fans with clips of him singing the line “Dark and dusty painted on the sky.” (See video below).
The video directs people to the website ForeverCounty50.com which features similar black-and-white videos from the likes of Trisha Yearwood, Reba McEntire, Keith Urban and Randy Travis. More information will be released on September 20. The NFL Kickoff 2016 airs Thursday, September 8 at 7:30pm on NBC. The Carolina Panthers vs Denver Broncos game will begin at 8:30pm.
