In The Night Of episode ‘Ordinary Death,’ the defense presents its case in the trial of The State v. Nasir Khan. After a night of partying with a stranger, Nasir “Naz” Khan (Riz Ahmed) woke up and found her stabbed to death. Khan is charged with her murder. Lawyer Jack Stone is representing Khan.
Jack Stone is portrayed by John Turturro. The Brooklyn native is known for his roles in the Coen Brothers films O Brother, Where Art Thou? (Pete Hogwallop) and Barton Fink (Barton Fink), Spike Lee’s Do the Right Thing, Jungle Fever (Paulie Carbone), Robert Redford’s Quiz Show (Herbie Stempel), and more recently in the Transformers movies (Simmons), among many others. The Night Of airs Sundays at 9pm on HBO.
