On The Real Housewives of Orange County episode ‘Shannon Gets Her Groove Back,’ while Kelly Dodd’s “volatile” behavior at the sushi dinner is still a topic of conversation, Shannon Beador couldn’t look happier. It’s her birthday, and her husband David Beador is whisking her away for a surprise. Sitting in the passenger seat, Shannon is beaming with excitement. And with very little makeup, she looks younger and happier than we’ve seen her in recent episodes. (See photo above.)

On the way to the secret destination, David tells her the surprise “will be something that you and I are going to talk about for the rest of our lives.” The Beadors end up not going too far from home. David has arranged a surprise party for Shannon. All the ladies are present with the exception of Vicki Gunvalson and Kelly Dodd. When David tells Shannon he’s also planned for them to renew their vows at the party, Shannon gets choked up and delivers a funny line: “I would have worn a different dress.” Real Housewives of Orange County airs Mondays at 9pm on Bravo.
