Ryan Reynolds is that elusive thing casting directors, book editors, and political parties are all looking for: he’s likable, supremely so. As likable as they come. Seems like a pal, a regular Twitter buddy. You can forget for a moment he’s one of the cool guys even, that he plays a superhero in the movies and in real life too, if you count being Blake Lively‘s husband a superheroic achievement. (People do.) Because he almost, with that sense of humor, pulls off regular guy.
Anyway it was pregnant Blake Lively’s birthday so Reynolds, being an avid Tweeter, had to bestow social media birthday wishes on his bride. But first Reynolds had to get something off his chest: he loves Billy Ray Cyrus, who happens to share Lively’s birthday, if a few years earlier. So before saying “Happy Birthday to my wife” Reynolds wished Cyrus the “most special, magical birthday ever” vowing “I love you with all my heart.” Reynolds really means his achy breaky heart, of course. Too cool for school, that Ryan Reynolds.
