In the Lifetime TV movie Hidden Truth, a 16-year-old motherless girl named Zoe (Diana Hopper) wants to escape from her small town. She finds an older man named Michael (Shawn Christian) to “sponsor” her but then the deal takes a nasty turn and Zoe ends up brutally murdered. Sheriff Underwood suspect Zoe’s father Pace (Brendan McCarthy) of killing her and her mother. It’s up to Pace’s sister Jaime (Sarah Lind) to convince Sheriff Underwood that Pace is innocent.
Sheriff Underwood is portrayed by Parker Stevenson. He’s known for his roles on Baywatch (Craig Pomeroy), Melrose Place (Steve McMillan), North and South (Billy Hazard) with his then wife Kirstie Alley, Falcon Crest (Joel McCarthy), and The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries (Frank Hardy) with Shaun Cassidy, among others. Hidden Truth premieres on Lifetime on Saturday, July 9 at 8pm.
