In the Hotel Hell episode “Landoll’s Mohican Castle,” Gordon Ramsay persuades James “Jimmy” Landoll II to take over the family business, Landoll’s Mohican Castle in Loudonville, Ohio. The Castle has eleven suites and the Highlands Building has four. There are also two cottages, and a restaurant, The Copper Mug Bar & Grille. It won’t be an easy transfer of power. Jimmy’s mother Marta Landoll has worked endlessly to keep the hotel and restaurant afloat since 2002.

The Landoll’s Mohican Castle is known as a wedding destination and a favorite spot for ghost hunters. Guests are offered one-hour Ghost Walks ($25, only in September and October) and Ghost Hunts ($50, year-round). After touring the 230-year-old cemetery on the premises and the tunnel under the Castle, guests may set up their paranormal equipment in a private room inside. And if you forgot to bring your own, Landoll’s has some available for rent. (Photos above taken by guests.) Hotel Hell airs Tuesdays at 8pm on FOX.
