In the Life in Pieces episode “Prank Assistant Gum Puppy,” Heather and Tim prank Tyler’s school and John (James Brolin) takes his new puppy on a date with his son’s ex-girlfriend Colleen (Angelique Cabral) and her dog. Meanwhile Greg (Colin Hanks) gets jealous over his wife Jen’s (Zoe Lister-Jones) dashing new assistant Jake.
Jake is portrayed by Gregg Sulkin. The handsome 23-year-old actor who was born in London, got his big break when he landed the role of Seryozha in the 2002 TV mini-series Doctor Zhivago starring Keira Knightley and Sam Neill. Since then he’s had recurring roles on Wizards of Waverly Place (Mason Greyback), Melissa & Joey (Haskell Davis), Pretty Little Liars (Wesley Fitzgerald), and MTV’s Faking It (Liam Booker). Life in Pieces airs Thursdays at 8:30 on CBS.
